Where have I been???
I know it's been AGES since I've posted anything. I was surprised that some people even NOTICED! Well, I can finally show what I've been doing and why I haven't had
any new art to post.
We are replacing windows in three rooms of our house; including one in my scraproom.
Since I had to move most of my storage out of the room to do that, I decided to do a
complete makeover. I pulled everything out of the room (which you will see was quite a job in itself when you look at how much stuff I have in the room) and paint first. Since the color of most of my storage accessories is a lime green, I decided to go with turquoise for the walls. After painting, we put in a new laminate floor. My hubby and I did this ourselves. We were surprised at how easy and quick it was once we figured out what we were doing. Of course, when the flooring was in all of the old baseboards looked so shabby that we decided to replace those too! And finally we
put in the new window and then I was able to move everything back in. I've put the after pictures right below the before photos.
The black media tower just DIDN'T work any more! It was too wide for the spot for one thing, and everything else is white. I looked all over (internet, office supply stores, home improvement stores) and finally found this white cabinet in another room of the house!
I painted an old spice rack white and attached it to the wall in the closet to hold my paint bottles.
If you look closely, you'll see a framed layout below the large "S" on the wall by my desk. This layout is one that was published.
I hope you've enjoyed touring my new scraproom. I do want to put in track lighting yet, but that will have to wait for now.
Hopefully now I'll be able to start creating some new layouts and cards now and will post more often.

Fabulous! Love the color you chose for the wall. What a great space. I see Captain Jack peeking out. So funny. I have two of those. One in my office and one at the top of the stairs.
Great makeover Sue! I like the way you've set up your stacking drawers. I have tons of those as well - I should own shares in the company - but my room couldn't hold a candle to yours. Lots of hard work I'm sure but well worth it! Thanks for sharing with us.
